🎄 Sneak Peek: The Week to Beat All Weeks

Scene: downtown lights twinkling like fireflies at a sugar-caffeinated toddler’s birthday party. The smell of cinnamon, the hum of carolers warming up their cords, and somewhere — yes, that’s you — contemplating whether “Festive” is a lifestyle. Spoiler: this week is.

Local Legends

Kennesaw Holly Days

Every year, this community-wide holiday celebration turns Downtown Kennesaw into something straight out of a storybook. Think 100,000+ lights glowing like a sugar-high winter wonderland, candle-making, wreath workshops, choirs, Santa sightings, festive concerts, craft nights, the annual tree lighting, and even a Glimmer & Glee drone show lighting up the sky. It’s one of those hometown moments everyone brags about on social — and looks way better in photos than your aunt’s obligatory Merry Christmas sweater.

Elevate Life

The 7-Minute Holiday Reset

Here’s your permission slip for December:
You don’t have to match anyone’s energy but your own.

Try this tiny practice sometime this week — I call it the 7-Minute Holiday Reset:

  1. Step outside (yes, even if it’s chilly).

  2. Walk for exactly 3 minutes—slowly, no destination, no purpose.

  3. Pause for 1 minute and find one thing that’s beautiful: a porch light, a leaf stuck in a spiderweb, that neighbor’s inflatable Santa who looks permanently confused.

  4. Walk back for 3 minutes, this time thinking:
“What would make this week 2% better?”
(Not 20%. Not 200%. Two percent. Your brain actually says “yes” to that.)

When you get back inside, congratulations: you’ve elevated your life without downloading an app, buying a journal, or rearranging your chakras.

Tiny upgrades, done consistently, change everything.

Quick Sparks

🍪 1) Cookie Truth:

Holiday calories don’t count if you eat them while standing.

😄 2) Social Shortcut:

Compliment one stranger. Boom — two people feel better.

💡 3) Tiny Reset:

Sit still for 20 seconds. Deep breath in. Boom. You’re human again.

🎁 4) Gift Trick:

Write one thank-you note. It’s the cheapest gift with the highest ROI.

Stay Zappy

If life feels chaotic, just remember — even Christmas lights get tangled. Shine anyway.

Zapp’s Zinger: Answer

Why did the ornament go to therapy?

Because it couldn’t handle all the emotional hang-ups this season. 🎁😄

That’s it for this week.

Until next week… keep showing up, keep looking for the little magic, and as always—stay zappy, my friend.
